An Old Fashioned Quilting Bee Blitz for Sophia

Many hearts make light work.
Quilting bees used to be standard fare.  Many women working together could make something beautiful that would help someone in need stay warm in just a day.  What we have is a need that can be met if we all band together and do our small part.  This lovely mama Megan Meier
is supposed to go and pick up her sweet daughter Sophia from her orphanage in Eastern Europe in 11 days.  Standing between them is $3143.  So here is what we are going to do.  We are going to do a quilting bee blitz for 48 hours.  From 8 p.m. pacific time Friday September 14 until 8 p.m. pacific time Sunday September 16.  Every donation gets your name on Sophia's Quilt of Love.
We have a donor who is going to match any donation within that 48 hours with a $5 donation.  Every single donation counts.  Every single person makes a difference.  In addition to this, there are 50 leaves remaining on the quilt.
Every donation of $15 gets your name on a leaf.  And for every leaf that I embroider a name on I will add another $3 donation.  Together we can finish this quilt and unite Megan and Sophia.  Its not hard if we all do a little.
